    Hey guys so i got this laptop a dew days ago... i was wondering if its possible to replace my ATI 2600 with a diff one like a geforce or maybe like ati 3600 or something let me guys thx alot

    I believe Gateways do not use MXM-slots and have the GPU's soldered to the motherboard. So GPU upgrade, probably a no-no.

    Well, I am not absolutely sure, but its best you checkout the Gateway forum for it, someone's bound to have tried an upgrade on that notebook !!
    Or, you could probably check out the GPU yourself by removing the rear thermal module cover....

    u know i did that the other day, the video card comes out completely, so that's means its upgradable right? im just not sure which video card to go with any suggestions on what will fit in there or should i go with the ati like a 3200, but i don't want the laptop to overheat or anything with a better video card, it gets very hot as is
