Well I was just given a Gateway MX6214, since it was a freebie I've decided to look into upgrading this machine. I've searched the net and it seems that the Celeron M processor in it can only be upgraded to the T1350 solo core processor? As far as memory I've read one person was able to get 3 gigs of ddr2 memory to run in this machine. I'm trying to confirm if this is indeed the max processor this machine can handle and whether or not it can actually take 3 gigs of memory or not. Here are the specs for the machine listed below:

Can someone at least tell me where I can get a service manual to disassemble this laptop? I've looked on the net but no luck so far.

The T1350 looks like the fastest 533MHz FSB core solo.

Acer most likely does not provide a tear down guide for your system.

If you have to, take the system apart on your own and take pictures along the way. Note where screws go and refer back to the images and you should have no problem dismantling and reassembling your laptop.
