I'm looking to get a driver for an older Hard Drive I have, the computer it used to be on broke down but the drive is still good, I switched it over to my new computer but I can't find the correct drivers for it to run
The model number is st9120823as
Its a seagate, 120GB, 7200RPM 2.5" internal drive
Any help would be appreciated.

Ah, what OS? And what kind of machine are you trying to run it from and what kind of machine was it originally installed on.
Can't read minds.....
That's a sata drive but win7 should be able to talk to it just fine.
does your machine bios see it? -
Tsunade_Hime such bacon. wow
Are you talking about the F6 SATA driver?

You don't need drivers for a hard drive (well not in most situations anyways), but you DO need to format the hard drive before use

There are only drivers for the harddisk controller, the harddisk doesn't use drivers.

Sorry to be vague with he original post, but I figured it out, I ended up just having to restart it again and then it recognized the drive. The first time I booted up my computer the Intel RST recognized the drive but I couldn't access it through My Computer. I also didn't have to format it initally which was good since I had important documents on it, but Now ive reformated it and it works flawlessly.
Thanks for all the help guys
