    Hey guys~

I recently upgraded my Extensa 4630G from a T5800 to a T9600 CPU, which sports 10.5x FSB Multiplier. I'm wondering, since to overclock one has to either raise the FSB or increase the multiplier of the CPU, right? So is there a way to at least increase the multiplier to maybe 11x instead of the 10.5x? I'm not really after OCing the CPU too much, perhaps making the T9600 run at 2.93GHz (like the T9800, which has 11x FSb multiplier) with SetFSB? If not, are there any other tools I could try?

    Thanks in advance!

Nope. the highest multiplier is hardware locked unless you have one of those "intel extreme" processors with unlocked multiplier.

how about taking your multi to a lower whole number. then just overclocking the FSB untill you're happy.

you should always take a higher FSB than a higher multi.
