    Hey all

basically I have sudden drops in WoW framerate and I have attribued these to the 7800 overheating.. It is throttling back when it reaches a temp of 88C.. till it drops down to 74. Anyone know if there is a known issue with this card? Is there anything I can do to help overcome this problem?

That's definitely an overheating issue . . do you have the Dell Inspiron E1705? There were issues with that and overheating. If your laptop is still under warranty, call Dell and see if you can get them to replace it. Many people who had the Go7800 were able to get Go7900GS replacements.

If it's been a while since you cleaned that notebook out, try the cooling guide.
