So I finally decided wich gaming laptop I will buy so now I have some questions about customization and the brand...

    1. Does it takes to long to Origin Pc laptops to arrive and are they realible or not?
    2. What would you recomend for me two sansumg ssds with 256gb or one sansumg ssd and a normal 750 gb HD?
    3. Is it worth the originPC GPU overclocking option?
4.Is 8.6 LBS too haevy for carying around?
    5.should I keep the Intel Core i5-2520 Dual-Core Processor (2.50GHz), 3MB Cache or upgrade to the Intel Core i7-3610QM Quad-Core Processor (2.30GHz), 6MB Cache for 160 bucks?

    Thanks in advance!

    1) dunno regarding their delivery dates, but you are buying a sager/clevo, they are reliable.
    2) The best of both worlds would be a 256gb 830 and a 1tb drive
    3) no its not worth it
    4) depends, its really up to you
    5) go for the i7

and go for a cheaper reseller, even mythlogic that builds their own pcs is cheaper than origin

whats going to be your usage? if only gaming the 3610qm is more than enough

I did a build using the 3610qm at myth, and it came at 2400, not to mention that I put the 90% gamut glossy screen in that build

I would simply go to malibal, xotic, or whatever, configure it without a SSD and a HDD, buy those from other stores, get the 256gb 830 and the 1tb samsung hdd.

    Doing this at malibal, it came to 1769 + 290 samsung 830 256gb + 110 1tb hdd = 2169

    those are newegg prices.

:( discovered now that origin is highly overpriced the same ssd was costing 180 dolars more on origin and 180 less in xotic PC.

Also I only got the other processor because it costs 17$ more on origin than the other one.

I really preffer buying all from the same package I will be with my school in USA and I prefer not messing around much.

Also I have another question : Is there any clevo rebranders(same model) that make a more modern design like origin I would really preffer paying like 50-100 dolars to get this same laptop, but more stylish.

Thanks for the help again mr.MM your help is highly apreciated

Origin gets their shells from the same sources as everyone else, so outside of custom paint jobs, there's nothing about the design that can be made "more modern."

XoticPC and Mythlogic can do some customization along those lines.

Get 3610QM, anything higher is not worthed if used only for gaming
Get 8GB, anything more is overkill

    Resellers

Malibal, XoticPC, LPC-Digital, Mythlogic, (more, go to sager/clevo subsection)

    1) Do you need one? Probably not. Does it hurt to have one? Probably not.
    2) Sa msung, if it's against the Intel 520. If not either are fine.
    3) Up to you.
    4) Is it reliable... If all the parts are there yes. If there's a delay then obviously not. You already asked this.
    5) SSD.
    6) Budget friendly? Not Origin as myself and others have pointed out....
    7) 7970M by far. The Quadro is a workstation card...
    8) Are you a sissy little girl or can you carry a laptop around?
    9) They can ship to anywhere in the United States and some overseas...
    11) Go to BestBuy and try them all out.
    13) Yes.
    14) What monster? You asked if you should get the NP9150/9170 so we have no idea. Look at Slappa, Booq, Everki bags.
    15) Sager doesn't have a 3D screen on its laptops.

Note: don't buy Skyrim for $60 from your reseller. And don't buy a year of Norton - just use Microsoft Security Essentials and Windows Firewall - they're free, less resource-intensive, and they'll protect your system admirably.

Note that s2odin is located at an Air Force base - his response to question #8 is going to reflect a bit of military machismo :p. The heavier the laptop you're carrying around, the greater the strain, naturally. If you're not sure if you can handle carrying a certain laptop around, I'd suggest weighing down your current backpack with an equivalent weight in extra textbooks/rocks/whatever and carrying it around with everything else you would normally carry with you for a while. If the added weight is too much, look into something lighter. And don't forget the AC adapter - the bricks on machines like that are usually north of a kilogram, and that can make a big difference.

The only thing unique about Origin's design is the lid. Their computers are otherwise identical to the Sager and Clevo systems you can buy for less elsewhere.
