Anyone running across any good deals for decent SSD's? I just purchased my Envy 17-32XX and want to put an SSD in once I get it.

Any links, etc will be useful as I look between now and the time my envy arrives around the 30th.

    Thanks
    Lan

Try getting a Crucial M4 series or a Samsung 830 if you can. Personally i went for a Samsung when i had the chance for a decent deal. But Crucial is 90% of the time at a great price right now its below 200 for a 256 GB which is great as long as its below 1 dollar per GB. If you cant and these are a bit above your budget i guess you can go for any other brand apart from these 2 the rest are pretty much on the same lvl except for Intel which is a bit above all thanks to its 5 year warranty and great performance but like many others in this forum I rather stay away from SandForce controllers.

Currently there aren't many good deals so yeah keep checking the Bargain part of the forums

Definitely keep an eye out on the M4 and 830. Another option would be to see if Intel has another sale on their 330 series. While it retails for $190 or so, I was able to get a 180GB for $140 after MIR. Still waiting for the rebate though :/
