Wanted to get some input on this before I spent money.
I have a y740 that I bought to do 3D work and it has an RTX2060 6GB. I figured this was gonna be ok if I was going to use the monitor for the laptop but was unsure how I felt about performance if I bought an external monitor. I have been thinking about this because I have been relatively spoiled at my day job because everyone either has an LG34UC80 or the LG38UC99. I know in the future my next machine will be a workstation laptop. I won't build another desktop.
So again, just wanted to get some ideas on what monitors would be good for 3d work. I do have my eyes on this one.

I know the Asus proArt monitors are out...too expensive.
Budget around $875
