As long as both sticks are 200 pin (most likely are) and the 1520 Mhz speed isn't faster than your MBP, you should be fine. :)

Alright, thanks. I'm very doubtful my 1520 uses faster RAM than my MBP, lol. But yeah, how about the price? Is it a rip-off, or is it fine?

Actually I just bought that exact same RAM and will be putting it in my system tonight. :) And that looks like a good deal on it too! :D

    Hope this helps!

P.S. I'll let you know how the RAM works. XD

One question though, is the processor in your 1520 Santa Rosa?? Because if it is, you should be getting RAM that has 800 Mhz FSB (PC2 6400), not 667 (PC2 5300). :S

EDIT: You're welcome. XD Glad I could help! ^-^

Nah, I got it a while before SR was release. On boxing week, and it only has a Core Duo.

Doesn't matter, the 800mhz ram will still run at 667mhz, as that is the ram speed limit for all chips up to and including the penryns.

Yup. I know, I think I mentioned something to that end in one of my first posts... but even so, the OP shouldn't have to spend $$ on 800 Mhz RAM if he can save some money and buy 667. :p :D

Arquis what CPU does 1520 have? Santa Rosa does not support PC6400. Yes the PC5300 from MBP will work in 1520 just fine even if down clocks to PC4200 speed.

What do you mean by this? Why wouldn't Santa Rosa support RAM at 800?

Even though it has a 800Mhz FSB it's memory bus speed is 667Mhz. So the fastest it can make use of is PC5300.
