I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'm having a display problem with my new Dell Inspiron 14 3421. The color depth is off, and certain colors (especially blues) seem to be grainy / pixelated. Does anybody else know what might be causing this, and if I can do anything in display options to fix it?

It has integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000. I just got the notebook, so it should already have the correct drivers. Should I take the laptop back in to the shop? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Regards

It's probably the display panel. HD4000, if set in the display properties to display 16-32bit color should show nothing like that.

Matter of fact, I'm 99.99% sure it's your panel. Dell usually uses cheap panels. With my Vostro I lucked out and got an LGE panel, instead of the Chi-Mei or AUO panels which are much worse.
