    any help on this ??

as If I run windows vista ultimate on the same machine I don't get none of them errors and I can use the latest graphics driver

    currently running 320.78

but have to turn aero off to stop it black screening

    thanks

did you do a graphics driver registry cleanup after changing operating systems as old nvidia crap likes to hang around in the registry.
only way to really do this is a manual safe mode clean. walkthrough in sig below.

also where did you get the 320.78 from as its not a normal nvidia release. was it a modified inf driver or a OEM release?

heres a list of the latest 20 releases NVIDIA Driver Downloads - Advanced Search

Hardware failure. Your GPU is dying.

My 9600 in my HDX works fine. Smooth transition from Vista to W7. Circa 2008

    hi MrDJ

as i did a full format not an upgrade from vista there shouldnt have been anything left over from vista

i cant remember where i got the drivers from 320.78 i think they was modded ones

anyway ive tried the latest ones and it results in more black screen's and a driver stop error

anyway ive reformated again and gone back to vista for now till i can figure this one out as it runs perfectly under vista 32 bit

just not windows 7 64bit i dont have a 32 bit iso to try that
