    Okay hey Guys :)
    I have a asus u56e bal7 and I would love to play games like day z etc but how can I upgrade my notebook?

    Unfortunately, as you will find with almost every notebook out there (and every ultra portable like yours), you cannot upgrade the graphics card. Those that can be upgraded are usually advertised as such (MXM-compatible is the term you are looking for).

    Nope. Unfortunately, the GPU is one of those components that lives with the motherboard, dies with the motherboard, so to speak.

    A limited number of higher-end gaming laptops and workstation laptops will have MXM-standard GPUs that can be upgraded, but that Asus isn't one of them.
