I've had my sony vaio vgn-n325e for about a year now and now theres this greyish line like 1/4 way from the bottom and it kinda fades to white on each end of the screen. When I move the laptop around or the screen, the line sometimes gets thicker and when i move it again it gets thin again. If im lucky the line actually disappears for a bit then reappears again. What could I do to fix this??

If it's still under warranty, send it in for repairs. If it's out of warranty, first, test the output on an external monitor. If you don't see it there, you should open up the screen and reseat the video cable. Here are some partial instructions (it's for replacing the inverter/backlight). If that doesn't fix it, you may have a faulty screen, unfortunately. =\ And if you still see the line on the external, then there's something wrong with the motherboard/GPU and there's not much you can do about it.

Try and connect the laptop to an external monitor/tv and see if the line is still there (if so, graphics card). Otherwise, yeah, pinched video cable (and/or failing one) or lcd (probably video cable).
