I was wondering if this might be a generic problem to all notebooks/LCD screens - my screen seems to have a large grey smudge BEHIND the screen. This is very distracting, thoughi t can't be seen on darker surfaces.

How was this formed? How do I get rid of it? The only thing I can thin is that it got a little wet. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the Liquid itself though.

Could be a pressure mark? Is it like a small dark smudge?

It's basically a large raincloud inside my monitor.

I used my laptop outside a few times and once or twice it started to rain :( I tought that it must probably be some kind of condensation, so I forced it to overheat(i.e. loaded up Bioshock) and closed the monitor, but no change.

Hopefully it will gradually go away. It's not as noticable today I think.
