This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    It is impossible to "guess the notebook" anymore. Asia, Inc. makes notebooks and sells to so many vendors with their private labels, it could be anything from several OEM vendors manufactured by several different companies/conglomerates/coops. It might well be one of the new Chinese People's Laptops making its way into the world market.

    Centralfield is a well established computer DIY retailer in Hong Kong. They have the largest shop in Shum Shui Po's Golden Center and they are now selling DIY notebooks through the web and at their shop.

    Quality reliable but don't know the original place of production. For these notebook, you can basically choose whatever you like, just like a DIY desktop.

    Yeah, i was just wondering the quality of those notebooks, since they're almost cheaper than dells
