The HP appears to be, spec for spec, a 'more powerful' machine than the Dell is.
What happens if you spec out an HP machine similar to the Dell but go with a 17" screen? -
Repped for being helpful
Also Im only looking for 15 inch lappys. Im not too worried about the processor even though the dell xps only has the dual core. Because from what i understand my gpu will be the bottleneck b4 the cpu. Correct me if im wrong.
Im just worried about the gpu in the hp and how much better it is. -
The HP have better CPU and a marginally better GPU. What screen is with the HP? The dell is 1366x768
-
screen is same resolution as dell
-
Yeah, stick with the HP. Especially as new games come out, the quad core will help you more. The video cards are basically a draw, with a little more weight in the ATI card's corner.
-
That HP has a quad core CPU and a better gpu, ergo the HP will be better for games.
And as more and more games use multi-core cpu's, that quad will come in handy. -
So i should defantely return my xps (its still in production)? How would i return it easily. Should i just tell them flat out that im going with hp its cheaper and better?
