The HP appears to be, spec for spec, a 'more powerful' machine than the Dell is.

What happens if you spec out an HP machine similar to the Dell but go with a 17" screen?

    Repped for being helpful
Also Im only looking for 15 inch lappys. Im not too worried about the processor even though the dell xps only has the dual core. Because from what i understand my gpu will be the bottleneck b4 the cpu. Correct me if im wrong.
Im just worried about the gpu in the hp and how much better it is.

Yeah, stick with the HP. Especially as new games come out, the quad core will help you more. The video cards are basically a draw, with a little more weight in the ATI card's corner.

That HP has a quad core CPU and a better gpu, ergo the HP will be better for games.
And as more and more games use multi-core cpu's, that quad will come in handy.

Did you try calling up Dell Support? If you receive it and open the box you will be charged a restocking fee if nothing is defective. Use your order number found in your account.
