Who has sucessfully installed (fresh XP install, not builder recovery) Realtek HD Audio or Creative X-Fi or Audigy (PCMCIA or PCI-E) to a notebook?

I keep installing the Toshiba update for my onboard RealTek HD Audio and still cannot get XP SP3 to see any audio device connected. I also have the X-Fi Notebook PCI-E card and installed the card the same and still cannot get XP SP3 to detect device, and now I get an unknown PCI device theat I cant update driver for.

    Any feedback would be greatfull.

    ThankX!
