    Hi.
I want to get rid of my noisy Hitachi DK23CA-20. I'm fed up with it.
    Any suggestion for a replacement?
I want a 5400rpm, 40GB minimum. Seagate Momentus, WD Scorpio, Samsung?

    Tx in advance.

I personally like Seagate, Samsung, and Western Digital. It's all preferance.

Newegg has a 60G, 5400RPM HDD for around $50! As long as it's 2.5", it doesn't really matter.

By the way, that is a semi-rare notebook nowdays. I havn't seen one of those in years!

    tx, Kgann.
I've recently purchased a Barracuda 160GB ATA100 and I am very satisfied with it. So I will try a Seagate Momentus....
