    HD upgrade on vintage Gateway

    It is a 600YGR, it has a 40gb, Ultram DMA 100, 4200RPM drive. I am getting it ready for an extended trip and it is starting to make untoward noise, figure better swap it now.

    I don't need anything bigger, maybe 60 gb, a little more speed wouldbe nice (5400), but reliability is very important.

    Any suggestions??
