I would like to upgrade my HDD from 120GB to 250Gb in my Aspire5610z. I am thinking of buying an External 250GB drive and clone the present HDD to this new hard disk and swap the hard disk using the method in this youtube illustration.

I won't be able to do a fresh install as I have an OEM Vista and I prefer to keep all my data and OS to be transfered to the new drive. First of all, is this possible and what kind of difficulties I may face.
    Any advice and suggestions appreciated.
