    Specs:
    HP DM4 1060us
    500gb HDD with 5 partitions (347GB, 100GB, 17.9GB, 198mb, 103mb)
    Windows 7 Home Premium x86

My laptop's HDD turned dynamic and it seems abit slower. Anyway to revert it back to a basic drive?
Clean install of windows 7 home premium x86 on the 100GB partition.

I was planning to separate the OS and data on different partitions just for the heck of it. Disk Management says that it will turn the partition to dynamic, I thought only the new partition I was making, not the whole drive.

Thanks, problem fixed. I deleted all the partitions but the one with the system on it, then I did a factory restore.
