Does anyone know of software that will let me copy the complete contents of one drive to another? Like a clone.....

Acronis true image is good a suite, that I personally used. It's generally not free, however both Seagate and Western Digital offer a free version to owners of their HDDs,if your hard drive is made by either one,you should check out their website for the free download.

This will depend are you talking laptop or desktop???

Desktop I would use acronis and make a clone of the drive but for laptop you will need a ext sata connector and ps and hook the ext drive and clone to that drive.
