I'm looking to hopefully upgrade to a TB of internal storage on my laptop by the end of summer, which means that I will have two spare 160 GB drives laying around. I'd like to put them into external drives, but I'm wondering if there exists an enclosure that would allow me to put in both drives and RAID them. I've seen a couple such enclosures for 3.5" and higher hard drives. Is there a case like this for 2.5 inchers?

    Thanks.

If you're so inclined, you can always try getting 2.5" to 3.5" form factor adapters and put those 2.5" drives into an enclosure designed for 3.5" drives. Of course, this probably won't work in enclosures where the SATA and power ports are fixed.
