Hi guys! It's my fist post in your forums and I'm seeking for technical advice/info.
Do you know whether it's possible to replace a laptop DVD drive with a Hard Disk drive? The laptop is an Asus F3jp and the DVD drive has stopped functioning (tried firmware updates, bios level access(i.e. booting),linux, win). Are there any special cases that could accommodate a HDD? Can I convert the current one? Any info would be really helpful.

In case the above is not possible, could you please provide me with links to sites/posts with instructions on DVD drive replacement?

Anayway, thanks is advance for your feedback.
    :)
