My questions is pretty straightforward but would something like his be possible? I'm trying to play Xbox 360 on my ASUS N56VZ and need a video input.

I tried doing searches but could not find any solid information, any advice? Thanks in advance.

I think alienware laptops are about the only laptops that support this out of the box, but I could be wrong.

I am unaware of any simple methods to make this happen, have you looked into a usb capture card/tv tuner?

I have a Black Magic Intensity Shuttle but I constantly receive a BSOD watchdog error when I plug it in with my laptop (ASUS N56VZ and it works fine on my desktop). I'm chalking it up to bad USB 3.0 drivers but unfortunately I cannot update them because I'm not sure where to download them. The ASUS support site doesn't have them and the Intel site doesn't have them either.

Even so I don't have any software that will display the video from my Xbox without lag. :/

Like ehancock said the alienware laptops do have HDMI-in ports, but some other laptops may have them as well but I can't think of any of them right now. As for playing off a capture card, it'll do fine for casual play if you stream it in lower qualities, like 480p, but you'll never be able to play competitive games like COD or Halo.
