I have a problem with my laptop. When I attach a TV via HDMI cable to the laptop, the laptop won't recognize it. Of course I used Win+P but nothing, just like I never attached a HDMI cable to my laptop. It's not the TVs fault, other TV has the same problem. Cable is also not the reason.

Only when I restart or disabling and enable my HD graphics in the device manager, the laptop will get connection to the TV. Is this normal? Do you have the same problem?

What O/S? Clean install? O/S upgrade?

Did you try removing the gpu drivers completely (all of them... how many times have you updated them)?

More info = more (possible) help. ;)

    Clean Install, Windows 10.

Yes, I tried that and when I upgrade the drivers, I always do a fresh install with DDU.

I also tried reinstalling everything using different drivers etc, but nothing will work.

Is this clean install Build 10240 or Build 1511 (Fall Update 2015)?

Its the fall update build. But I had this problem with all Windows 10 builds, and with Windows 8.1. I remember it worked a long time ago, but suddenly it stopped working. I don't know why. If its a hardware failure, why is restarting solving the issue?

What BIOS version do you have, latest seems to be v2.30?

    What video drivers?

    Yes, 2.30

Intel graphics are on 4248 (yes there is a new one, but I will get the error on the new driver too and it will always get replaced to 4248 by windows update)
    Nvidia is on 385.91

Just noticed that you say you always install with 'DDU' - what is that?
