    HDMI only output or input also?

    im going to be buying the hp DV6-6195CA. im wondering if I can play my ps3 using HDMI on my computer. is it possible?

    It is an HDMI out only. You will not be able to play PS3 on your computer.

    well thats a big disappointment any possible way for it to work? like some sort of adapter?

    No such thing in existence. There is, however, one laptop with an HDMI input - Alienware M17x (I think M18x has one too, but I'm not sure about that).

    damn alright that kinda sucks :p so there is no way not even using the yellow white and red cables? cus i see people on youtube that have done it

    Those yellow, white and red cables You mentioned are used for analogue video(yellow)/audio(red+white or black) A/V transmission. AFAIK there's no way they would work with HDMI, which is 100% digital. Links to YT?
