    If a HDMI-to-DVI cable was used, will the quality be degraded in any way?

    I'm sure it won't as it's digital to digital with no analogue conversion, but I just wanted to check.

    No, there is no conversion. You should see no degradation in quality unless... something is wrong with a cable.

    No problem, just checking before purchasing a notebook with HDMI ;)
