Currently my HDX has 2 X WD2500BEVS drives installed, C: contains the OS/Recovery/Files, D: contains Installed games. Still more then happy with my HDX performance but want a little more snappyness from my games tbh and was wondering if its worth upgrading the D drive to something a little faster.

Ive heard very good/bad things about the new 7200.4 momentus 500gb but can't justify £99 on a single HD so have been looking at the WD3200BEKT which iv'e heard good things about and is a little better at £50.

Im just wondering if overall the upgrade will be worth it.

    Any words of wisdom appreciated.

    try looking for an ssd...
you said games... are you complaining about load times???
    maybe its you internet connection?
there arent any improvements in faster hard drives worth 100 euros...
    unless you like burning money
try reformatting your hard drive... that will really speed things up!

Cheers for the reply david, didn't see it earlier. Not really tempted by a SSD to tell ya the truth, heard nasty stories about them degrading over time and to get the same amount of storage your talking 10X the price of a HD. Tbh i wouldn't say the load times are bad and im probably just throwing £50 away.
