This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     HDtune showing CRC error on a fairly new external

    Sorry for the third new thread about a hard drive lol.

    Would this be a problem? HDtune has noted 1 "Ultra DMA CRC Error count" on my external thats i bought in dec 2009. It says this may be caused by a damaged cable, but my external only uses a USB 2.0 port.

    Everything else is ok, and about 2 days ago when i was checking my old HDD with HDtune and checked this one as well, this wasn't there.
