This is a whitebook meaning it'll come without CPU, RAM and HDD. Graphic cards are there already.

Depends what CPU/RAM/HDD you gonna be buying :D
But for crossfire setup powerfull CPU is a must. Although personally I would avoid any crossfire or SLI systems. Minimal frame rates wont be increased in 95% of games plus possible driver issues. Been there, done that - though haden't any issues myself.

Pretty much. The p8600 is at around $200. Count on $50 for 4gb of ram and $100-80 for a good hard drive. That is still cheaper than what asus is offering and don't forget that you have 2 graphics card in there. If you think you have the skills to build it yourself, I'd say go for it!

These should be already there. Although few months ago Bluetooth was optional for OCZ DIY.

    Quote from Egg:

You will have full manual with pics with that DIY system in the box :)
And there's also a How-to guide on products page of OCZ website.

A 4965 AGN cost $35 on buy.com so that would be:
    OCZ Whitebook: $1,199.99
    P8600: $219.99
    Crucial 2x2GB DDR3-1066 : $57.99
    Hitachi 7K320 RPM: $59.99(after rebates)
    Intel 4965 AGN: $35

    A bit under $1600...

Just download Windows 7 build 7077, and you have a free Win based OS until 2010.

Skip the P8600 @ $219, get yourself an ES T9600 from eBay for $218.
