    hi guys,

i just bought an HP pavilion dv1040us laptop, Pentium M 1.6Ghz 600Mhz with 512Mb of RAM. i generally love this laptop. but when im playing games, specially "farcry" and "NFSU2", the graphics is choppy, and slow,.. i've read and had some research on some forums and reviews and such, i understood that my graphics card "intel extreme graphics with only 32MB" of shared memory is not designed for games. and now, i've seen the "ATI mobility 9600/9000 series", or the "Geforce go series". im wondrin if i can replace/upgrade my intel graphics with one of this,.. and by the way, maybe someone could direct me where to buy this stuff too, or any websites regarding my problem!!!

any help will be appreciated a LOT! thanks in advance,. have a great day[ ;)]

    Hi,

I'm interested in the dv1040us but I am concerned about the graphics card as well. I plan to play World of Warcraft on it (besides doing work of course *big grin*). Have you contacted HP Tech Support to see if that is possible?

    Just wondering.
