    My powerpro 8:14 is very loud just sitting here. It is the CPU fan that is loud. I tried using compressed air to blow it out but that doesn't appear to have made a difference.

    ideas?

    Check out Task Manager for any signs of high CPU usage.
    Download HWMonitor and RMClock to monitor the CPU temps.
    And also check if there is an updated BIOS available on the manufacturer's site.
