Can anyone with HP 15.6" laptops with a screen res higher than 1366x768 post any of the following info for their screen?

    1. manufacturer and model number
(NOT HP part number...the actual manufacturer and part number is on the back of the panel. Else u may check under device manager > monitor > properties > details > hardware id and/or compatible id and/or manufacturer. This usually only works if windows didn't didn't identify the screen as "plug-n-play monitor")

    2. glossy or matte

    3. video connector type

    4. what side the connector is on

i am hoping to find a compatible high res screen for my 2010 dv6tse laptop.

See the following thread in which someone almost successfully got their envy15 1080p screen to work on their dv6t
