    Hey guys,

I am looking to upgrade the 1.8" HDD in my HP 2530P laptop to an intel X18-M 1.8" 80GB SSD.

Before I purchase it can anyone confirm compatibility.

I have done some research and it seems the 2530P is SATA as well as the SSD but I am a little confused if they are both micro-SATA connectors.

Are all of the new 1.8" HDDs/SSDs micro SATA or are some standard SATA?

    Thanks for your help ;)

    Rich

I own a 2530p and have the same plans. If anyone could confirm that the Intel X18-M works fine, that would be great :)

Ask in the SSD or HP thread, but I believe several users have the 2530p and are running the Intel X18-M w/o any problems though.
