    Hi guys!
My previous GTX 1070 Standard black PCB died for second time within two months and I decided to jump on a proven MSi 1070, which failure rate is pretty low.
The problem is I was’t familiar with the Vortex edition of this card and now every driver past 375.70 gives me Error 43 in Device Manager...
Is there any solution for how can I deal with this except reselling the card?

Yep. I grabbed a standard (not MSI) card that happened to previously be in a Vortex and I was getting error 43. It caused me huge issues for a number of days while I was trying different modded drivers. Without a driver installed I could see the vBIOS version in GPU-Z. With a quick search online I worked out that the wrong vBIOS was installed for my M18x. A quick flash of the right vBIOS and she was good to go.

I had a non gsync card but there was a gsync vBIOS installed. I think the non gsync card is 1BA1 compared to 1BE1 but check your hardware ID in device manager. I read through the list of 1070 vBIOS’ online and saw that mine was for a 1BE1 card instead of 1BA1.

    HI.

How about using that previous 1070 vbios into the new one ??

Tried it. Same. Vortex 1070 won’t let newer drivers install on every other system without hard modding the card.

In your situation I would stay with this 375.70 version driver (if it displays all 3D correctly) and from time to time validate new drivers under Win 7 and Win10.
I would just sit wait and check :) Was not that your goal for 8770W ?? you have achieved it. What else do you expect ? :) :)

I replaced it with non Vortex 1070 and all is working perfect now - 441.87 with 10 bit per color

Vortex means it comes from a small MSI all in one-ish desktop chassis(called MSI Vortex) that uses up to two MXM GPU's and a socketed CPU, the cards have the same physical format than the ones used in MSI laptops, but they dont usually work well at all when used in laptops, even after flashing laptop vBIOS.

    Yes, absolutely .
The cooling system is modded to hold up to 140W. Currently my 1070 is pulling 125-130W max under heavy load.
