I'm debating between the two. The main differences I see are that the DV6125se has AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-56 at 1.8GHz
, while the other has AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-50 Processor but with 1.6GHz Processor Speed. I think I prefer the 2120 b/c of the smaller screen, its better for school. I know the battery is much longer on the 6125 but I am willing to buy one for the smaller laptop. I am basically wondering is the larger 1.8 GHz is much faster than the smaller one at 1.6Ghz. I will play newer games once in a while and want to know if the 1.6Ghz 2120 will be able to handle it. Will the graphics and performance of games be much better on the white, 6125se? Which graphics card is better? And will there be a difference in performance on regular applications? I know those are a lot of questions, I couldn't find the answers anywhere. The people at best buy or wherever aren't very helpful. Thanks for your time.

I would suggest you fill out the FAQs, but here are some comments:
    1) Either processor should be fine, since most of the time you will not need every drop of power.
    2) Screen size does matter, but I've usually found a 15.4" to be quite portable.
    3) The size of the battery doesn't matter...how long it gives you power is what does.
    4) If you are going to play newer games you need to look for another laptop. Both of them have the nVidia 6150 integrated graphics card...which is absolutely horrid for gaming. Check out the GPU Guide for more information.
    5) "Regular applications" should be fine on that computer...it is the gaming applications that are going to die here.

    My suggestions: 14.1" HGL30 (ATI X1600), 15.4" nc8430 (X1600), 14.1" nc6400 (X1400), 15.4" E1505 (X1400), 14.1" Asus A8Js or A8Jp (X1700 or 7700)

Thanks, that was very helpful. Will it be able to play any games, nfl 05 or 06 maybe? I don't expect to play first person shooter games, mainly sports. Red Alert? All of those notebooks you mentioned were a little too expensive for me. These two are $1199. Thanks again, I really appreciate your help. Also, is the Toshiba Satellite A100-TA7C much better for gaming. I know its more powerful but I really, really don't like the design. I was initially going with that one.
