I have a HP dv5-1050tx and i would like to add more ram to my system. What i need to know is how do i access all of the memory modules. I have only encountered one module but i do not know where the others are located.

Any help would be appreciated :)

There's two slots stacked on top of each other beneath the panel on the underside of the notebook.

I believe that my specific laptop model supports a maximum of 8gb of ram. I assume that would be 4 slots with 2gb in each slot = 8gb? When i purchased the laptop it came with 2gb. I have spare ram lying around collecting dust and i was thinking of just adding it to my laptop. I have searched around on google and youtube but cannot find where the slots are located

Under a panel on the bottom of the notebook. Almost all, though not 100%, have two memory slots.

There are only two slots. By 8GB, they mean you can put in 2 4GB sticks.

As ZaZ noted, the slots are one on top of the other. You have to open the center compartment on the bottom of the notebook.
