I had a talk with an HP guy 1-2 weeks ago and he said that error 1002 meant that my HDD had a problem, he said I should send in my HDD and theyll send a new one... in my head I said "EFF NO" I am not sending anything that has my data on it..

So I just got done buying a Hitachi 5K250 and guess what... same problem... I guess its not the HDD huh?

    So... what now!?

Warranty on that laptop is only until like the 7th of February ! ! !

You got a days worth of warranty left. I'd suggest you call soon.

    ! !! !!! !!!! UPDATE !!!! !!! !! ! : I just got the HP recovery discs ;)

Buuuut its a DVD... and its scarry because its been over 1 hour that its restarting etc... and shows "Software Installation" by HP... as in bloatware... and its just going on and on... I will abort the process in 2 hours if it doesnt change anything...

And if its the HDD I will bring it back to BB and get a 320gb 5400rpm WD :D Or is will that HDD be worse?
