I just picked this unit up today from Best Buy for $599.00 WOW! Has some great specs and so far I am not disappointed.

    - SPECS -

    Screen: 15.4 High Gloss
    CPU: Amd x2 1.6GHZ
    MEM: 1GB
    VIDEO: nVidia 6150
    OPTICAL: DVD DL
    OS: Windows Vista Premium
MORE: Firewire, 3 USB Ports, Remote, Webcam, Imprint Finish, SD-MS, MMC, XD Reader, Modem, LAN, Wireless, S-Video Out, Etc!

Kick Arse little lappy. I have been able to run all my favorite apps so far including (Trillian, Rhapsody, CS-Source, Skype with camera functional, Ventrilo)

    Questions:

1.) What can I do about graphics, is it upgradable? On the HP Website I could choose between the 6150 and the 7200...there must be away?

2.) What do you all think? Good deal?

3.) Anyone else on this unit?

Can upgrade the graphics. You choosing the 6150 gave ur computer a completely different motherboard than the one with the go7200, thus it's not an easy swap. PLus, the 6150 is part of the mobo, so the only way of removing it is by physically ripping it out of the motherboard...

Ahh I would not have thought they would use different boards...but that makes sense. I spoke with an HP rep she said it is possible but it is not supported. I guess when I get board I can take it down to an authorized service center and have it upgraded.

I did read it but I figured since during the purchase process you can choose the 7200 it would be possible to upgrade it.
