Just curious ..... is the HP DV9200 Entertainment notebook upgradable to 4gb of memory. All manufacture and suppliers are prettt much stringent on emulating that the system will only handle 2GB total, but technically, I can't find 1 reason why the system is not upgradable to 4GB. Has anybody here every tried this upgrade on this or similar laptop RE: DV9000 series ??? Thanks

I read the datasheet for your chipset:
Maximum Memory supported: up to 4 GB at 400, 533 and 667 MHz

    datasheet here:
    http://www.intel.com/Assets/PDF/datasheet/309219.pdf

    page 23.

Now it depends on whether your BIOS has been coded to support the maximum amount (4gb).

    Would be likely :)
