Hey guys I'm looking to get some ram for my laptop i currently have 512 (256x2) and I saw a stick of 1gb on circuit city's site for $129 http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Kingston-Technologies-1GB-DDR-SODIMM-Notebook-Memory-KVR333SO1GR-/sem/rpsm/oid/143693/catOid/-12995/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do and I'm not quite sure about the latency and how it is but I have a slow processor on mine it's only a celoron M 1.4Ghz so I'm hoping a gig plus 256 would do my system good! so if you guys can find a stick that is cheaper then $150 for 1 Gb then that would be good or is the one i fouund good enough?

For memory the best places online are Newegg, Zipzoomflyor Mwave. Retail stores arent the best places for RAM. Check these three and they should have RAM you are looking for under $150.

Rule number 1: Everything you buy in a store is always more expensive than online.

Just so you know, I bought a 1GB stick of Transcend RAM for $77 after shipping from Newegg.com. Now what's this about wanting to buy from Best Buy again..? :)
