Hey guys so I am strongly considering buying the HP DV6T Quad Edition for the purpose of mainly just gaming and there's like a $300 off coupon, but anyways I am not sure what RPM means in this case and if its worth sacrificing 110GB for an additional 1800RPM? The main reason I'm asking is because on the customization part of buying the laptop it says that the 750GB - 5400 RPM is a free upgrade and what also makes me kind of weary is that the 7200 RPM 640GB doesn't cost anything additional, so because their including the 5400 RPM as a "Free upgrade" it makes me think its better than 7200 (maybe the HP DV6T can't handle the added heat that 7200 produces therefore they put down 5400 as a recommended / free upgrade??) Any thoughts / suggestions? Thanks!

Hard drive rotational speeds will not affect gaming performance, the only effect would be on load times. Heat has nothing to do with it.
