Hi, I recently got a HP Envy 15t slim. I am not a fan of the screen and I want to change it out. I'm looking for something under $100.
    REQUIREMENTS:
    1920x1080
    IPS
    matte
fits and works in my laptop
    in stock

If anyone can help me with this that would be much appreciated!

Matte may be difficult to impossible for a HP Envy. Matte screens usually are mainly found in HP ProBook or EliteBook business models. IPS and 1920x1080 might also be near impossible in a matte screen as well. Most business line laptops usually don't have HD IPS screens installed unless in workstations.

There are definitely screens that are made that fit. IPS 1080 glossy is easy to find, but I need matte. I don't know why you think these things are impossible, they are pretty standard, I just don't know where to find them. If someone knows of a laptop that they were in then I could look up the replacement screen for that laptop and install that.

LP156WF4(SL)(B6) This is the model of the screen I need. I need the Matte version. Does anyone know where I could find this in stock?

Don't think you will find one in matte. Which will fit your machine. Most matte screens are lower resolution than 1080.

Good luck finding a genuine one since they've been discontinued, let alone under $100.

I'm curious: do you know *what exactly* the difference between SLB1 and SLB6 is?
