    Hello,

I would like to know if

    this ram:

    CMSO8GX3M1A1333C9 (Corsair 8 GB Module (1x8GB) DDR3 1333MHz PC3 10666 204-Pin Unbuffered C9 Laptop Memory)

    is compatible with

    this laptop:

    HP Folio 13-1020US

If it helps in answering my question, this Crucial RAM (part # CT2812959) is compatible with the laptop, per Crucial's website. Corsair's website doesn't list this laptop in the configurator and I don't know much about what determines the compatability.

Could someone please let me know if the Corsair (CMSO8GX3M1A1333C9) RAM should work with this laptop?

    Thanks

It should be compatible, however it is also dependant on if the RAM is upgradable in this laptop

The HP folio 13 has an i5-2467M cpu.
Per Intel's description of the cpu (found here: http://ark.intel.com/products/56858), it can support up to 8GB RAM (remember that Intel moved the memory controller to the cpu die with i series, and as a result, it's the cpu that determines the maximum amount of RAM, not the chipset).
So, the RAM stick in the OP post 'should' be compatible - of course, I could be wrong, but as 'tilleroftheearth' said, you have to try putting the RAM stick in yourself and see if it works.
Chances are it will, unless HP decided to limit RAM capacity artificially via BIOS, but I don't think is the case.
