    Hi,

I just got my HP HDX16 in the mail today. Upon starting it up, I immediately noticed that the text on the screen in all cases looks fuzzy, or slightly out of focus, whether I'm on the internet or in a Word document. It's like the screen isn't completely focused - all of the text characters have a fuzzy look to them. It's making me batty, like my eyes aren't focusing right. I purchased the 16" High Definition HP Ultra BrightView Infinity Display (1920x1080p).

Any suggestions on what I could try to make the display more "in focus?"

    Thanks,
    Sarah

Have you tried updating the graphics drivers?

If new drivers are outputting the same blurriness, you should RMA your laptop and state that your laptop was delivered with a grainy screen.

Thanks for the advice - I've been away and just read your reply. Could you please advise on how I go about updating the graphics drivers? I've never done that before.

    Thanks -
    Sarah

Make sure it's running at 1920x1080 and not something lower.
