    HP NC8430 Core 2 Duo? Upgradeable?

    Does anyboy knows if the NC 8430 is upgradeable to the Core 2 DUO? When will a version with core 2 duo arive?

    It all depends on whether or not HP releases a BIOS update that supports the Core 2 Duo. I'm not sure if anyone knows yet whether it will work or not.

    To answer your second question, probably mid- to late Sept. maybe early October. That's another question no one really has a direct answer to yet.
