    hi

I have a HP Pavilion DV6 6053ea. It runs pretty good but I think having a SSD would really speed up loading programs and boot up etc. I am not quite sure about the upgrade though. I read on a thread if I had SATA Port 1 6 GB/s Supported or SATA Port 0 6GB/s then my laptop was good for SATA III. Is this the case ? Attached is a picture from program hwinfo32, can you verify if my laptop would support SATA III ?

The other question is my HD. My laptop says I have 750GB HD which comes in at around 700 GB after formatting. But my laptop seems to only have a total of 350 GB with all the sectors added up. Where has the space gone ?
