    Hey all, this is my first post although ive been lerking for a little while now.

    First off, I just ordered a CTO HP DV8000T (specs at the end) last week to replace my zd7000. I want to watch cable tv via laptop while I am at school. I want to go with HP and they offer an express card and a usb dual tuner. My question is what are the pro/cons of usb vs express card? I like how with the express card it is attatched to the laptop and will remove the clutter from on top of my desk, but with the dual tuner I will be able to record one channel and watch another. Will quality be any different between the two? Thanks for any response.

    i believe express card is alott faster than usb
    i am doing the same thing as you for colelge, i may go with that hp one or an avertec one
