HP service manual should contain the instructions to disassemble the notebook

P.S- The ze2108 shipped with a skt 754 mobile Sempron, AFAIK there weren't any mobile Semprons with a 3600+ rating and they topped out at 2.0GHz(3400+). Dual cores arent compatible with your system. All AMD dual cores are based on Skt S1, no Skt 754 dual cores.

While I do believe you're referring to a dual core AMD processor, 'Duo' generally implies Intel's chip, so just in case you are thinking about to upgrading to an Intel Core Duo or Core 2 Duo processor, it'd be impossible.

And as Miner said, it doesn't sound like your system would be able to take a dual core AMD processor anyways.

You may be able to get a A64 3400+ in there instead, though. It would be a bit faster than the Sempron. Check to make sure it's compatible, though.

You can get up to an A64 4000+ as that is also socket 754, so any A64/Sempron would work.

I would venture to say that a Turion 64 will also work in there, but I believe you have to update the BIOS.
